We had a really good stay that cost € 220 per night.
The room was well-maintained and with air conditioner and an iron at your disposal, magnificent view of the lake.

We knew what we would be getting. Beds were comfortable, quality, clean, service. There were very few hotels or B&B's available by the time we decided to book because there was a festival that weekend. We had hoped to spend less for a place to stay, however, the places that were available were risky, so we went for the more expensive place because we knew it would be quality.
Disappointed that the pool and hot tub closed at 8 pm. We figured part of paying for the price of a higher end hotel would be that we could relax in the hot tub after a full day of sight seeing. Unfortunately, we weren't able to do that since the spa closed so early.

room, close to the center and bus station, breakfast, bed and pillows.
The room was not air-conditioned and at the reception they told me that I had to ask for it in advance when I booked, I have never had to clear that up in a 4 star hotel! On the third day I didn't get the room so I didn't have clean towels and I had to ask for them, the room they gave me was very far from reception 1386 we had to go up an elevator, walk about 200 meters inside corridors, take another elevator and walk again as many..I asked for a bad cesar salad and they charged me 10.50 euros for the salad and 5 euros for taking it up to the room, this is a robbery because if they charge for taking it up they should say that they do not have room service, besides they told me that I could not charge the room, that I had to pay it at the time, very bad! And when I arrived on Thursday afternoon, at about 5 pm the room was not ready and we went to the bar to drink something while they were fixing it, we waited about 15 or 20 minutes to be served at the bar and nothing! Very bad the attention of the bar!

This was my fine stay for a wedding. Everything was really good, responsive staff, great views of the lake. The classic king room was splendid and fashionable. The bed was great and I had a separate bathroom. Location: the hotel was near to Galway, the train station, and the Latin Quarter. It was close to Loam Restaurant, where you can have dinner.

I enjoyed the fine thermal suite and the various spa treatments. The breakfast was the best I have had, with a wide range of options to choose from. I appreciated the effort they put into sourcing local ingredients for the meals. I'll always remember the beautiful autumn evenings spent here. My stay was nice, and I loved the cozy feeling of the bar near the fireplace.
The refrigerator made loud noises at night, disrupting my sleep. The shower took too long to warm up, frustrating for the price I paid.

Location excellent - 5 mins walk from Eyre Square. Car park underneath hotel - directions on website very accurate and found the hotel easily. Lovely view over lake from some rooms and veranda - sat out after breakfast each morning in teh sun. Breakfast was included in our deal and had a great selection. Air conditioning in our room and that was necessary as it was very hot during our stay. Room was spotless as was bathroom. Bar stayed open after most pubs were closed. Staff very helpful and efficient re directions etc Didnt use the spa etc so cant comment on that

The location is great and all staff were extremely friendly. The swimming pool was an added bonus for my 12 year old son. Would definitely go back again if the weekend rates remain competitive!

We loved the hotel, our room was excellent but I would expect this when paying 150 euro a night. The food expecially the breakfast was fantastic and the staff were lovely.
The only complaint was that we could not get a reservation in the spa .Also we were charged for parking, I feel that when its only 6 euro it could be absorbed in the room charge.

Our young children are always made very welcome. We particularly like the family changing room in the pool area. It is convenient and private.
The heating in our room did not work which was unfortunate with a young child but the staff did provide us with a plug in heater and offered to change our room the following night. We were fine with the heater so we didn't bother changing and we were kindly given a 30 euro discount on our room for the second night.
